OUR MACULAR DEGENERATIONS ARE GETTING BETTER !!! You will also see retinal photos of my wife. She HAD macular degeneration in her left eye in May of 1999. After 9 months on Ocupower, her macular degeneration in her left eye was GONE and it has NEVER RETURNED. She has never shown any sign of macular degeneration in her right eye. Ocupowrer appears to work on mild macular degeneration. While studies on other products like those used in the A.R.E.D. S. have no effect 100% of the time on mild macular degeneration. Further more the A.R.E.D.S. reports that 75 to 81% of the time the product in the study had no effect on moderate to severe macular degeneration. According to the L.A.S.T Study, Ocupower is beneficial most of the time on mild, moderate and severe macular degeneration. I also believe that ZeaVision's Eye Promise 10 should be used along with Ocupower to have even a better chance of controlling macular degeneration.. I have written a document on Nutrition and how it can effect our Macular Degeneration. This document is now about 15 pages long and is called " My Macular Degeneration and Nutrition".
On April 28, 2008, a report was published on how Gene Therapy Helps Blind Young Adults to See Better. This is in a Phase 1 Study and may prove beneficial to many people who are visually handicapped from various retinal diseases. Read about this on my Practice News Page.

NEWS FLASH !!!
The Double Blind Placebo Contriolled Medical Study on the Main Supplement (Ocupower) that I take for my Macular Degeneration was PUBLISHED and IS VERY POSITIVE!!! It appears in the April 2004 issue of Optometry by The Journal of the American Optometric Association.
We moved into our 2300 square foot office on September 15, 2000. We just added the most advanced visual field testing instrument in a 20 mile radius. It has the potential to pick up Glaucoma up to 3 to 5 years earlier than other visual field instrument with Blue/Yellow test mode. It can also pick up visual field defects caused by the retinal damage from the use of Plaquenil in the Red test mode. It does all this in a third of the time of our previous visual field analyzer.
